Interesting twist. Hmmm... I wonder where you'll go with this. I think I Might have to go back and re-read some of the earlier chapters though. Lol. Not that I mind. ;)

First off...I'm jumping up and down that you've finally posted more C&F - woo-hoo!!!

Wow, I wasn't expecting that ending *blinks*

This was just gorgeous. I love how you portrayed Lee's feelings and realisations.

At a certain level of his being, one that lies deep beneath the outer layers of rational thought and psychological health, Lee has never been happier.

You have such a way with words and describing things. They're in a completely hopeless situation but the base part of Lee is just content that he's with her (this is the Lee I love!!)

He wants to tell her what it was like to lose her, what it felt like to live - to try to survive every day, every minute - knowing, *knowing*, that she did not exist anymore.

I still think the early chapters of this story are some of the most emotional I've ever read. Lee was in so much pain when he lost her. You are such a powerful writer. It's still stuck in my head the section you wrote about Lee wasting the final minutes of Kara's life by being with Dee *sobs*

He knows he’s gone, very ( ... )

This part makes me ponder about how they will end BSG. I've read people's spec about how Kara will sacrifice herself in the end (which would be something she would totally do. Especially if it saved Lee and the Old Man; the rest of humanity would just be a bonus) But I am absolutely terrified of that outcome. If she dies, I need Lee to die with her. I'd rather they both be alive or dead at the end - but not separated. I don't think I could handle it. Unless of course they keep bastardising Lee into this shallow unfeeling, hedonistic bastard (maybe a bit harsh, but his need to shove his cock into what ever was passing by in season two was sickening. And I realise that's an over simplification of what really was going on, but it is still what it boils down to)Thank you, Martha!!!! You know I write only for you. It is so great to have you as a reader b/c it makes the writing worthwhile, to get fb like this ( ... )

This has always been a mesmerizing tale and this chapter isn't any less so. I'm amazed at how much punch you packed in here.

Now I need to read more. :)

SQUEE!!! I actully gasped when I saw that you had updated this wonderful story again. I was beginning to think that you had left it for ded. I should have known you wouldnt!

I COMPLETELY agree with Latte on her assesment here. You really get down to the feelings and the what DRIVES the plot instead of the plot itself. Beutifully written. I cannot wait for more.

*send warm cookies and a cold glass of milk for you, and a salad for the plot bunnies*

Thank you a million times over for your kind comment, but ESPECIALLY for this line:

*send warm cookies and a cold glass of milk for you, and a salad for the plot bunnies*

which made me LMAO!!!! i will feed your salad to the plot bunnies tonight and maybe they will be nourished and well-rested for some writing tomorrow!

thank you!

OK- I am pretty sure I'm going to need to change my name to BSGFicSTALKER, because I think I have come to your LJ every day since your last BSG fic post. So you cannot imagine the *happy* I felt when I saw that this was there!
I totally dig the twist at the end and cannot wait to see where you are going. I was loving the reality of Lee protecting his cylon love, but perhaps that's not actual reality....
This was another great addition to the series - I am enjoying it very much.
