I couple of weeks ago I was heading back to BART along side a coworker and we ran into a woman with an extremely cute and happy Golden Retriever puppy. I keep thinking about it and it occurred to me that I can actually own a dog now, if I wanted. While this is not something that will happen in the near future, I am seriously considering it. Get a dog trained for Rescue and they can go with you!

How much room do you have in that place of yours. Both those dogs you've mentioned need a fair amount of space.

My place is about 1050 square feet plus a decent sized patio. However, just outside there's a *huge* grassy area in the complex with plenty of room for running. Aside from that there's a really nice park walking distance from my place. Part of the commitment I was talking about would involve getting up daily early in the morning to go running with said pup, as well as walks and games of frisbee when I got home.
