Amazing! I wonder, when you're all caught up and no longer deficient, will you feel better in the winters?

i wonder that too (but remembering to take those pesky vitamins is a huge obstacle for me)! i also am now wondering if this has been an issue for a long time and no doctor thought to check it until now. it would explain a lot. if so, i'm really nervous - i'm already halfway to osteoporosis given my family history and my own habits, and vit D deficiency hastens that. i hope that i feel better and that i test better in 3 months :-)

I hope so too! Please let me know what happens!

You get a lot of exercise, so that should offset some of the risk. I hear that lifting weights helps a lot - maybe you could do some of that too? Or maybe you already do.

When I have to remember to do something every day, I physically put it with something that's part of my daily routine. You could try sticking the vitamins next to your coffee maker or toothbrush or something, maybe.

One of my best friends is also Vit D deficient. But she lives in Utica, so there you go. :) She used to get debilitating migraines several times a month and she saw a specialist in Chicago who put her on a zillion supplements, including Vit D. Such a strange little vitamin.
