So today at day camp, we got Subway for lunch and they came in Hannah Montana themed bags and there was a formula for figuring out your pop star name. And mine is Kyle Venice.

Also, camp is two weeks away from over. Then comes grad school and--possibly, probably--job writing for a wee local newspaper.

So, quite possibly, my last day of school ever. And I have class, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. But then no more! Ha!

As for finals, I just took my Italian one. All I have left is portfolio for Tish (pretty much done), paper for Essay Writing (1/2 done), and project for Shakespeare (started).

I'm very mellow and very happy and very Friday. Kyle came and spent the night last night and it was all very fun and awesome. We made curry yesterday and ravioli today before he left. We watched High Fidelity too and lots of Mythbusters. Very nice ( Read more... )

My creative writing workshop took a field trip to see Prof. Delbanco give a lecture on "Lastingness in Art" and afterwards we stuffed ourselves on cheese and crackers and artichoke dip and fruit and chocolate chip cookies at the reception. So last night was Bex's birthday party at her Co-op. It was good times: 709ers, cake, beer and balloons with fish faces hanging from the ceiling.

On the way home, I went to Big Ten Burrito with Steph and Zo and saw what all the fuss was about. Getting mexican food at the height of drunkenness, is genius.

Vacation starts today. Approx. 2:30 p.m.

Also, it's is becoming very necessary for me to both go to Meijer and do laundry.
