Oh no! I've done that before. :( I've forgotten to call my dad on his birthday. It does suck. :( But it happens.

We didn't call Pat's mom on her birthday, either. I entered all his family's birthdays into my iCal last year, but I forgot I didn't back that up when I had to send my computer in to get wiped and reformatted, so I didn't have any of the dates anymore. She called us last week and said, "I thought you might call me today," and I realized why, but too late.

It figures. I'd been doing so well with her--we sent her flowers at Easter and Mother's Day, then we totally forgot her birthday!

Really, I think it's ok. She doesn't seem quite as insane as my mom is. Her birthday is tomorrow, and if I forget to call her, she won't speak to me for a month! (Again.)
