"Ne! Ne!" A girl screamed to the boy who was with her. He turned around and asked. "What is it, Aya?" He smiled and walked towards the girl. "Remember the day when we met during the meteor shower?" He nodded and embraced her in a hug. "Yeah, on the same day I confessed to you." Aya smiled and muttered. "Arigato, Nino."
"Aya-chan! Aya-chan! Over here!" Her friend shouted to her. They were at a summer festival. She turned around and quickly walked towards her friend. When she saw her friend, she noticed that two other boys were with her. One was her boyfriend and the other one was his friend. Both guys smiled to her and she smiled back. "Well, let's go! I'm hungry!" Her friend shouted excitedly. Her friend took her boyfriend by his arm and pulled him to a stall.
Meanwhile, the pair was left awkwardly alone. "Ah, there is a fishing stall. Let's go!" Aya shouted happily and grabbed the boy by the wrist, dragging him to the stall. She let go of his wrist when she looked at the old man who was the owner. "Can we try?" Aya asked and the owner nodded his head. She bent down and picked up a net and bowl. She was excited to see the fish and slowly she lowered her net into the water.
"Mou! I can't do this!" Aya gave up on the 10th try. She wanted a big black fish that was swimming. It was chubby with sparkling eyes and the fins were glowing as it was swimming in the little pool. The boy looked at her and grabbed a net and bowl. He bent down and he knew what fish she wanted. "This one right?" The boy said. Aya nodded and the boy quickly got the fish into the bowl without making the net break. "YATTA!" They both shouted. People stared at them and they both giggled. The owner said. "You two look like a couple." They blushed and left the stall.
Aya and the boy bought fireworks and played with them on the bench near the festival. "So, what's your name?" The boy asked her. She giggled and said. "Aya. Hiroko Aya." Aya was curious with this mysterious boy in front of her. "Your turn. What's your name?" The boy lit the big fire cracker and said. "Kazunari. Ninomiya Kazunari." There was flashing lights from the fireworks that lit up his face. Aya widened her eyes, to see the face of the boy who was with her the whole time. She did not notice that he was wearing a disguise. He smiled and took off his hat and sunglasses. She gasped and started to walk slowly backwards.
"This can't be true! This can't be happening!" Aya started freaking out. In front of her was a super idol. Nino walked closer but every time he walked closer, she would walk back. "Chotto. Please don't be afraid. I'm just a guy, a guy that you had a great time with."
Aya did recognize him as a normal guy but his status to everyone is higher than any other normal guy. Aya took one step back and tripped on a rock. The next thing she would feel pain on her body but when she opened her eyes, Ninomiya Kazunari the idol was embracing her.
"Please let me go." Aya struggled to be let go of his warmth. Nino kept hugging her, wanted Aya to know his emotions without saying anything to her. "Aishiteru." He finally put his feelings in one word. Aya stopped her squirming. Nino let go and Aya walked towards the water. She had thought about the whole thing.
She turned around and smiled. "I was in love with you ever since we met." They smiled at each other and Aya turned to stare at the meteors. Nino came from behind and walked beside her. She turned her head and looked at Nino. She giggled and slowly linked hands with him. Nino was surprised and looked at Aya, but Aya ignored him and continued staring at the meteors falling from the sky.
True love can only be cherished by your soulmate.
