Chapter 1-Sayaka
"Sayaka-san, we have some news for you." Sayaka walked into the big office room and her hands were shaking constantly. She felt like throwing up at any second. Sayaka nodded her head and grabbed her handkerchief from her pocket. She wiped her sweat and she saw someone walking towards her. "Please, sit down. Would you like a drink?" She hesitantly sat down in the big black chair in front of her.
She was slim, pretty and cute. She was in front of the boss of the company she work for. "I would like you to do a favor for me." Sayaka nodded and asked. "Hai, what is it?" Then her boss smirked at her.

"Minna! We have a new person that will be accompanying me. She will be your assistant manager." Their manager smiled as Sayaka walked forward from behind their manager. Their manager was skinny and had thick glasses, his hair was slick back with gel and looked like he was one of those top students in high school. The boys screamed and shouted. "It's a girl. A cute one too." Sayaka smiled, bowed her head and said. "Hajimemashite, my name is Mayama Sayaka. I'll be NEWS' new assistant manager."
"As you know, I'll be a new daddy in a few weeks so Mayama-san will take care of everything while I'm gone." NEWS' manager looked at Sayaka and happily said. "If you have any problems, Sayaka-chan you can call me." Then he started to skip across the dance floor. "Have fun!" He waved good-bye and left the room. Sayaka muttered. "This must be a joke."
"Mayama-san, it's nice to meet you." A boy around her age pulled out his hand for her to shake. Sayaka looked at the boy's face and noticed it was the leader of the group. Yamashita Tomoshisa. Also known as Yamapi. His skin was tan and he had dark brown hair. Muscular and very polite. He smiled at Sayaka and she thought. "This is going to be a long day for me.."
"Can we call you Sayaka-chan?" The youngest member of the group came up to her and asked. Sayaka smiled and said. "Sure. It will loosen the wall between us." He smiled and said. "You can call me Tegoshi or Yuya. It doesn't really matter to me." He showed his kawaii smile and Sayaka smiled back.
Through-out the day, Sayaka met with the members of NEWS. She thought that this group was really nice and polite, not like other groups that she had seen on TV. They were different, more quiet and mature. Especially the member who was in 2 groups, Nishikido Ryo. He was handsome, cute and has a great smile. Koyama, the oldest member of the group is like the mother of the group. He would keep everything in order, even though he is not the leader. To Sayaka's eyes she knew that Yamapi was not doing his work properly.
Sayaka has a secret that they can't find out. She has to keep her eye on them in their idol life and their private lives. Sayaka is the only one who can do this because she is related to her boss. Johnny Kitagawa who is the owner of the successful, Johnny & Associates.

"Okay, you guys have a 10 minutes break." Sayaka happily shouted to the sweaty group. The group sighed in relief and thought they would use up this time to get to know Sayaka better. The first daredevil was Tegoshi. The other members were at their bags, getting a drink. That's when Tegoshi went to Sayaka.
"Sayaka-chan, how old are you?" Tegoshi asked in a very cute childish voice. "21 years old. I think I'm older than you by a year.." Sayaka drifted off thinking. Tegoshi nodded his head and then the other members came closer to the conversation. "Where do you live?" Massu asked with his cute smile. "Tokyo. Just around the corner from Tokyo Dome."
As each member was asking her questions, the 10 minutes were up. Sayaka made them practice again until they were done. In the 10 minutes of their break, they had asked everything about her. Like her birthday, where she lived, her relationship, her family and much more. While NEWS was practicing, she observed their movements. They had great dancing abilities but something lacked in all of them. She couldn't figure it out but if they had what they lacked, they would be a fabulous group that everyone would adore.
"Is it like this?" Shige asked Koyama. Koyama shook his head and said. "You got it wrong. It's like this and then this." Koyama said and showed Shige the steps. When Koyama was done, Shige tried again but he couldn't get the moves down. The other members noticed and came over to see what was happening. Sayaka sat there, watching Koyama's moves that he was showing to Shige. She knew that his beats were perfect and Shige was 1or 2 beats behind. The other members helped Shige out but his steps were getting more messed up. Sayaka sighed and she walked towards them.
"I know I won't be dancing with you guys, but I see someone is struggling. Can I help you guys?" Sayaka asked. NEWS was looking at each other, cocking their heads and then finally they nodded to her. Sayaka smiled and began her short 1 point dance lesson. "Okay, at this part. Remember this trick." Sayaka smiled at the NEWS members and they were confused if she knew the dance moves, with just watching their practice. "The trick to learning the dance move, is to dance with the rhythm of the song. Just forget about the dance moves for a second and just listen to the music." Sayaka played the music and everyone was quiet in the room. The song stopped and then everyone looked up at her. "Remember the instruments that were played in the song. Now, put your steps in the song." Shige nodded to Sayaka who was confident enough that Shige will be able to get the steps.
"Here I go." Shige said and everyone was anxiously waiting if Sayaka's 1 point lesson taught him the moves or not.
