Ah, Christmas is in two weeks! Can't you feel the cold and winter joy as you walk along the streets? I can. My school is playing Christmas songs every morning, I can't wait until it's holidays. When I woke up this morning, there was a lot of snow on the ground. I was so happy but then when I was coming home from school, it was raining and the snow turned into slush. (-_-)
-Karen and Arashi who decided to come along with her to Canada, has just arrived to Toronto. Karen was scared of what her parents will think when her family finds out that 5 handsome guys are with her.

Part III
“Where did you guys come from?” The taxi driver asked us. I looked behind me and they were clueless of what he had said. “We came from Japan. I’m actually from here, originally.”
He nodded his head and he drove onto the highway.
“What did he say?” Aiba asked me in Japanese. I smiled and turned my head. “He asked us where we came from.” They smiled and nodded their heads.
I turned my head back and slumped in my chair. I placed my hands in front of my face and then I sighed. “You have 5 boyfriends?” The taxi driver whispered to me. I removed my hands from my face and laughed dryly. “No, they are my friends. They surprised me that they were coming to Canada with me.”
The taxi driver nodded and said. “Oh.. You don’t like them?” He asked me.
I waved my hands and said. “No, it’s just that I didn’t tell my family who are living here that I was going to bring friends, especially 5 guys.” He laughed and smiled at me. He drove off the highway and into a 3 way intersection.
“Well, if you explain yourself properly then your family will understand.” He said and showed his teeth which had one gold filler. I smiled and giggled. “Thanks for the advice.” Then he drove on the street.
“Ah, Karen-chan. I saw a moose on the way here!” Aiba shouted. I looked behind me and smiled at him. Then I laughed and said. “You must have seen a painted colored moose then. I’ve seen those a million of times..”

I dropped off Arashi at the hotel. They wanted to come with me to my family’s house but then I didn’t want my mother to die from a heart-attack, if she saw Arashi with me. I smiled and said. “You guys should get some sleep. I’ll be showing you guys around Toronto. It’s going to be a long day filled with fun!” I giggled and they nodded their heads. Then all of them started to yawn at the same time. I slowly shook my head and Aiba walked towards me. I pecked Aiba on the lips and I whispered. “I’ll introduce you to my parents soon.” He smiled and hugged me. Then Arashi took an elevator up to their rooms.
I walked out of the hotel and took a taxi to my house. I’ve spent so much money on the taxi rides. I guess I should borrow Thomas’s SUV for tomorrow.
Good thing they picked a hotel that wasn’t too far away from my house. It took 15 minutes until I reached to my house. I unloaded my things from the trunk and paid the taxi driver. Then I walked up the steps of my house. I smiled and pressed the doorbell.
“Coming!” I heard my mother shouting. I patted my cheeks and then I saw the door starting to move. Then I saw my mother with her priceless expression ever. She was shocked and surprised.
“I’m home!” I said and hugged her. Her eyes were wide open and she was speechless. “Happy early birthday!” I shouted to her.
“Ah..Thank you.” I giggled and then I grabbed my present from my hand luggage. I pulled out a medium size box and she gasped at me.
I nodded my head and she opened it to see a jade necklace. “I got it for a good deal. I know you love jade so I had to buy it for you.” She smiled and hugged me again.

I had a really filling dinner that night. My mother cooked more food than we needed. It looked like we were having 20 people over. She was really excited that I was back to Canada. My father and Thomas were happy that I showed up as well.
I was helping Thomas clean the dishes, he was smiling as he rinsed the soapy plates. “Hey, Thomas. Can I borrow your SUV tomorrow?”
He looked at me and raised his eyebrows. “Why?” I smiled and looked the other way. “Well, it’s a secret. Please can I borrow your SUV? I promise I’ll do anything for you.” I pleaded to him.
Then I saw a big grin on his face. “Okay. When I go to Tokyo, you have to accompany me everyday till I leave and let me stay at your apartment.” I sighed. Thomas is the biggest couch-potato ever. He would mess up my things, ask money from me and expects me to do his laundry. I didn’t want him to stay with me but I needed to borrow an SUV from someone. I don’t have enough money to rent a rental car because I spent so much on the taxi rides.
“Fine.. So, what happened with your girlfriend that you were talking about a few months ago?” I asked him. He looked at me and showed me his bright white smile.
“She is coming to mom’s surprise birthday party. I’m going to propose to her at the party.” He whispered and I gasped loudly.
“Shh.. Dad doesn’t know yet too.” I sighed and shook my head. Surely my mom is going to have a heart attack when she finds out about Thomas’ proposal and Arashi.
