[Sofia doesn't know what it is, but something just seems off today. While going about her business, she seems to see something out of the corner of her eye. Was it a person? A shadow playing tricks on her in the dark?

Whatever it is, it sends a chill down her spine.]I do not know what this feeling is, but I do not like it. Something feels... it ( Read more... )

[Totally in Turkish, and a video.]

I do not suggest ignoring such a feeling, madame. To my people, such is a warning. [She brushes the little snowflakes from her screen briefly.] It could be those snow demons.

[All Turkish ftw! \o/]

I would hate to cause needless worry for myself, or anyone else.

As for the snow demons you speak of, I have heard of the many encounters, and have kept my distance for my own safety.

[She offers the woman a friendly smile.] More importantly, it is good to hear a familiar tongue.

I would not trust this... darkness in this city. It is oppressive; one should remain on their guard. Who knows what more could be out there.

I... was not so fortunate as to remain free of their grasp.

[The smile is returned, warm and friendly, but simply a mask.]

There is another who speaks Turkish, but it is nice to freely speak it with another. Are you from Istanbul as well?

It is also rather depressing. I cannot see how one could keep a positive attitude in the constant darkness.

Oh. I am... sorry to hear that. I am glad that you made it away safely, though.

Perhaps we are thinking of the same person? [Because if it's Yusuf, then it's cool.] Yes, I am from Istanbul. I assume you are from there as well?

Something not feeling right is usually a good sign that something isn't right.

[ It's a feeling he knows well - had gotten at the strangest of moments when he thought he was alone, finally perhaps safe for even just a few seconds only to be surprised by something worse than the things he'd encountered before. And now the fact that someone had gotten that same feeling here, he's sure it's not a good thing. ]

It is very unnerving. Have you felt it as well?

[She usually lets these kinds of feelings roll off her back, but Abax is weird like that, and she doesn't quite trust it.]

No, I haven't.

[ The fact that he'd prefer not to goes unsaid. ]

But I've had plenty of experiences with that kind of feeling.

Is that so? What have you learned from your experiences, then?

[Because she's curious.]

Just feels like, or you've seen something?

bookishpassion January 2 2012, 19:29:55 UTC
To be honest, I have not seen anything. I turn to find nothing, but the feeling still remains.

[It's about time those two meet XDD. Also perma-video]

[Maria wears an expression close to the woman's: her brow is knit with a frown and her lips are thin, her gaze thoughtful.]

You are not the only one carrying this sense of foreboding.

[Yes, yes! \o/ Video forever.]

[Sofia gives her a single nod in agreement, the frown still upon her face.]

It is a feeling I would rather not have. Have you the feeling that there is... something... almost watching you? Only to find nothing there?

[Maria studies the other woman on the screen: her accent reminds her of Ezio, but for now, she's not going to ask if the red head is Italian as well.]

I doubt anyone wants to have such feelings, to be honest. [There's a pause before Maria nods slowly] Yes. I thought at firs that those...men made of snow were back, but it appears they have not.

[The feeling is nothing like having something tangible, like an Assassin perched on rooftops, watching your every moves. This feels more eerie, more....dangerous.]

It's worrisome. [Sofia gives her a nervous chuckle.]

I would be more inclined to believe that it were those moving mounds of snow if I had not been indoors.

[It's a mystery to Sofia as well. In her instance, the feeling of being watched by an Assassin brings her more relief than danger. This feeling, however, was far from relief.]

Feels like something's waiting. But I can't get anything but a damned headache if I try to search for it.

Why would you get a headache?
