While an admirable idea, Ms. Carter, I do not know that it will be particularly effective to start talking about rules, until there is a way to enforce the ideas.

Well, perhaps it was a bit aggressive but my tone was friendly and I don't think I looked intimidating in any way. I'm not used to addressing a large group of people; I know that isn't a good excuse.

I shall be. I just wanted to hear from everyone else first before I decided upon anything. If the idea isn't well-received, then I won't push it.

Are you thinking of an inventory count perhaps, of food, medical supplies, and location of water?

Yes, that would be a very good start. I suppose I should have been more specific before.

I'll try not to worry about it but there's no guarantee. Some here mightn't be so receptive of my proposal.

Having a system would be the most effective way of going about our survival. The city may be chaotic and free to sack, but I don't expect it to sustain us.

What do you have in mind?

I was thinking of going through all the buildings which have supplies and cataloguing what we have. Then ask what people need and distribute the supplies evenly.

It could work, but there would need to be several people working several areas at once, and a safe place to keep the supplies.
