[It's the first time that Peggy has used the video function to communicate with anyone so it takes her a few moments to adjust it so she's directly looking into the camera.]

Hello, everyone.

[Peggy smiles, her tone pleasant. Now that she knows a few people and her situation, she isn't so hostile.I know that for some of you, collecting supplies ( Read more... )

Yeah, I got a question. Who exactly put you in charge?

No one did. I'm merely offering a suggestion, not try to take over.

Maybe I don't mind things how they are. It's worked so far.

Yes, but it mightn't work in the long term.

Yeah, in the long term we might have to go out of the city or something. That'd suck.

Assuming we can go out of the city. [She replies bluntly, not really liking his attitude.]

We run out of stuff here, I'm willing to try. [ He folds his arms and scowls at the video. ]

It might prove fruitless. [Her eyes narrow slightly in response.]

It might not. Did you even try?

I did not try, no.

But you're gonna ration us all like we're stuck here anyway, right?

I don't think so.

I was informed by a few people that there was no way out of here. My intentions are entirely honourable; I don't wish for the possibility of supplies running out and leaving people with nothing.

Although, someone said that things replenish every day. Is that true?

Things reset. Don't ask me how, I don't know. Same reason why the trains don't stop and the sun never comes up. It's like we're on a loop. Do damage to a building and after a while it's like it was never touched.

I don't know about every day though. Try measuring a day without the sun. All we're going by is the clock tower.

Perhaps we'll never know the reasoning behind why everything here is like that. We don't have much to go on, since whomever or whatever brought us here hasn't come forward yet. It's odd.

Having no sunlight is definitely a problem. [There's a brief pause.] I apologise if I came off as abrasive before. That wasn't my intention.

You didn't. [ He did. But that's not the point here. ]

Look, we'll find the way out. This isn't for the long haul. There's always a way out.

I sincerely hope we do find a way out of here and I'll do anything I can to help.

Sounds like you've been in some difficult situations before.
