[Fuck using the right tense!]

[Billy's own sweater with Santa's and baubles was probably worse in his own opinion, but at least through the itchy tightness, it was semi-warm? He wasn't amused at the early wake-up call since it had just felt like he'd fallen asleep minute ago. Once he was ready and outside however, the sudden cold hitting him was enough to wake him up completely. Shivering even through his layers, he trudged through the snow.

His back was to Teddy as he began to make a snowmans body when suddenly he found himself being forced forward by the impact of a...snowball? This meant war, Theodore Altman! He straights up and turns around, his own snowball in hand which promptly falls to the ground because, hold shit a snowman was eating his boyfriend!

He ran up and grabbed Teddy's hand trying to get him out as he tugged.]

[Okay, being eaten alive by a demon snowman wasn't high on his list of ways he'd like to die. The snow was completely covering all of him but his hands, and it was a little comfort when he felt a warm, gloved hand closing around one of his own. To help his boyfriend in his attempt to tug him out, he concentrated through the cold and growing inability to breath, shifting into his Hulkling form to displace most of the snow.

As he did so, the snow loosened enough that Billy's tugging pulled him free just as he was changing back to normal. And then his cold, wet face was smooshed into his boyfriend's chest.]

Well, hello there Mr Kaplan! [He grinned up at Billy, lifting a hand to ruffle the snow out of his hair as he sat up, not worried about his butt getting wet - it was already a little late for that. He wasn't having much luck in the snow.]

[Billy was surprised as he suddenly found that there wasn't any resistance and he was falling back. The cold that seeped in was quick and he laughed as Teddy landed on him. He was wet and cold and he shoved at Teddy as he sat up.

He got to his feet and held a hand for his boyfriend.] Come on, before another snowman comes.

[Teddy's grinning like a maniac when Billy stands up and holds his hand out for him. He takes the hand and for a moment it seems like he's going to use it to get himself up out of the snow, but instead he tugs suddenly, pulling his boyfriend down into his lap.]

I'm sure we'll be fine if you watch my back and I watch yours. [He sets his hands on Billy's hips. Or at least one of his hands. The other is gather up snow. Slowly moving upwards so as not to catch his boyfriend's attention...

And then smooshing it into Billy's hair right as he leans forward to give him a quick peck on the lips.]

[It had been a long year for Peter. A very, very long year full of a lot of hard decisions that most people - let alone a sixteen year old teenager - didn't ever have to face. So when Teddy's message came in about running around in the snow like any other normal kid in existence... How could Peter deny himself the opportunity?

The world hasn't stopped turning yet. Letting myself be happy and guiltless for a day won't kill me, right? ...Again, anyway.

He didn't give Teddy a heads up on when he'd stop by, though. He figured it'd be nice to just surprise his friends (he was pretty sure Billy would be with him, after all - and seriously, thank God they'd worked through their fight). So when he does finally stop by, he first keeps to himself, sticking to the wall of a nearby building while watching the snow battle between Billy and Teddy escalate ( ... )

[He was just starting to warm up a little and his hair was drying. He had just knelt down to gather snow to make another snowball; it'd be a good one, and he'd have to take care just how hard he threw it. He lifted an arm to block a snowball Billy threw at him and stood, poised to throw his construct...

When a snowball hits him square in the back of the head, dripping down his hair and down the back of his horrendous sweater, making him shiver and almost squeal in digust and fright. Batting the remains of the snow from his hair, he turned around, trying to figure out where the snowball had come from.

He pouts, glancing back to Billy and shrugging before looking back to the buildings. It took him a few moments, but then he spotted him, perched on the edge of the rooftop of a nearby building.]

Hey!! That's a little cheap!!

[He could just about see the grin on Peter's face in his mind's eye, and with a smirk he made his snowball a little bigger, squinting to make sure he was aiming right. At this distance, there was no danger in him ( ... )

[At the distance he's at, Peter can barely make out that Teddy's shouting anything toward him. Still, it's perfectly clear that he's been spotted - not that Peter had made it difficult to be spotted - which means evasive maneuvers may be necessary. It's easy to dodge a snowball headed his way, though. No matter how fast or hard Teddy throws it, Peter will have ample time to get out of its way at this distance.

It's almost unfair, really. ...Oh well.

Peter quickly ducks out of the way of the incoming snowball, grabbing up more of the ones he'd had prepared and throwing them one after the other in Billy and Teddy's direction.]

[Billy had to bite back his laughter at the sight of Teddy being pelted at the back by a snow ball. At the others look he held his hands up and shook his head, he hadn't done it, but Teddy knew that. He follows the look up to the building and smiles seeing Peter up there.

Well, Billy had been creating his own snowballs and whilst Peter unleashed his assault, the mage used his magic to lift his own army and aim it at Peter. He threw his arm out and the snowballs flew in the right direction.]

He can't dodge them all.

Victor hated the cold and snow. Enough that he was violating his usual 'no hats' rule and wearing a wonderfully warm wool cap he woke up with. And usually he would fight to make sure he didn't have to come out in it. But then he got Teddy's message and couldn't resist. The mutant couldn't remember the last time he got to just act like a sixteen year old. He'd been too busy fighting against things like demons and alien invasions. Add in that he'd be hanging out with two of his favorite superheroes and it was almost too much to pass up. It would also give him a chance to get out of the X-Bar awhile, Vic still embarrassed about what happened with the egg nog.

So Victor's bundled up tightly, back to a tree. Even if he's just out to have fun, he doesn't want a repeat of the snowman incident. Carefully rolling a snowball, he's waiting for a good target.

[It was amazing. Just being able to let go and enjoy being a kid. It was too long since they'd all kicked back and just enjoyed life, and Teddy had been sure that it was the same with some of the other young heroes he'd met. It was why he'd invited them, so they could get away from everything life had thrown at them for once.

Despite how cold he was after being out for as long as he had, he was still smiling and laughing, cheeks rosy from the cold.

When he spots Victor by the tree, he grins, moving over to Billy and discretely motioning to the green mutant. He'd told Billy about their fanboy after they'd gotten back together. This was the second time he'd seen the mutant, and he hadn't entirely expected him to come along - he knew the reptilian boy wasn't fond of the cold. But don't let it be said that Teddy didn't have a small cruel streak.]

I say we team up on him, and then go get cocoa or something, because I'm freezing and I don't want you to catch a cold.

[Victor was oblivious to the plans being made. Of course he would support cocoa getting. As long as there was no egg nog involved, a nice warm drink was something he would highly support. Looking around for more snowmen, he caught sight of Billy and Teddy and offered a wave with his clawed hand.]

[He still can't believe that they actually have fans. Them, the Young Avengers. It was crazy and yet the biggest inflation to his ego. He stops what he's doing, looking over at the boy by the tree and smiling over at him, waving back. He talks out the side of his mouth.]

Sounds good.

[Bending down, he makes a snowball and throws it towards Victor.]
