Victor hated the cold and snow. Enough that he was violating his usual 'no hats' rule and wearing a wonderfully warm wool cap he woke up with. And usually he would fight to make sure he didn't have to come out in it. But then he got Teddy's message and couldn't resist. The mutant couldn't remember the last time he got to just act like a sixteen year old. He'd been too busy fighting against things like demons and alien invasions. Add in that he'd be hanging out with two of his favorite superheroes and it was almost too much to pass up. It would also give him a chance to get out of the X-Bar awhile, Vic still embarrassed about what happened with the egg nog.

So Victor's bundled up tightly, back to a tree. Even if he's just out to have fun, he doesn't want a repeat of the snowman incident. Carefully rolling a snowball, he's waiting for a good target.

[It was amazing. Just being able to let go and enjoy being a kid. It was too long since they'd all kicked back and just enjoyed life, and Teddy had been sure that it was the same with some of the other young heroes he'd met. It was why he'd invited them, so they could get away from everything life had thrown at them for once.

Despite how cold he was after being out for as long as he had, he was still smiling and laughing, cheeks rosy from the cold.

When he spots Victor by the tree, he grins, moving over to Billy and discretely motioning to the green mutant. He'd told Billy about their fanboy after they'd gotten back together. This was the second time he'd seen the mutant, and he hadn't entirely expected him to come along - he knew the reptilian boy wasn't fond of the cold. But don't let it be said that Teddy didn't have a small cruel streak.]

I say we team up on him, and then go get cocoa or something, because I'm freezing and I don't want you to catch a cold.

[Victor was oblivious to the plans being made. Of course he would support cocoa getting. As long as there was no egg nog involved, a nice warm drink was something he would highly support. Looking around for more snowmen, he caught sight of Billy and Teddy and offered a wave with his clawed hand.]

[He still can't believe that they actually have fans. Them, the Young Avengers. It was crazy and yet the biggest inflation to his ego. He stops what he's doing, looking over at the boy by the tree and smiling over at him, waving back. He talks out the side of his mouth.]

Sounds good.

[Bending down, he makes a snowball and throws it towards Victor.]

[Vic certainly isn't expecting a snowball. He looks to the side to make sure he's not about to be snuck up on and gets pegged in the side of the head. Stumbling a bit, he looks around in shock before his eyes settle on Billy.

It clicks where that snowball came from and he quickly rolls up his own frosty projectile and lets it fly Billy's way.]

[Oh, but Billy and Teddy aren't the only ones hanging around nearby playing Superhero Snowball Fight. There is, in fact, a third hiding out atop one of the closest buildings. And he only makes himself known by throwing a snowball of his own, swift and precise, aimed right for the backside of newest addition to the fight.

He climb back down to join them all properly in another moment; the vantage point from on high was just too good to give up yet.]

[Teddy's grinning widely when he spots the snowball coming from the rooftop, glad to know Peter was joining in too. Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-man indeed.

He watches as the snowball from Victor flies towards them and his grin turns to a wicked smirk as he flicks a hand out to catch the snowball and quickly make up his own rather large ball. He throws it and then grabs Billy's hand, running through the snow towards Victor.]

Hey! You came! I thought you'd stay in since it's so cold! [He grins down at the mutant and raises his hands in a truce.] Sorry about the snowballs, couldn't resist!

[Billy had fallen into a defensive position. Meaning he stood there like an idiot and covered his face with his arms. But the snowball doesn't hit and he sees Teddy throw another. Looking up and smiling at Peter before he's almost dragged off his feet. Running in snow was one thing he hated because back home he always slipped about like an idiot. But when they get to Victor he smiles through the small puffs of air that come as he breathes hard. Everything about his face rosy.]

Hi! So this is that guy you told me about? Hey, I'm Billy!

[Another hit! Victor jumps, letting out a startled yelp as the snowball hits his backside. Before he can investigate the sneak attack, he notices Teddy's incoming snow ball and leaps out of the way. Landing, he quickly starts making a new snowball when he sees the Young Avengers coming towards him. He slowly lowers his icy 'weapon' at the truce gesture and smiles.]

My wanting to hang out with my two favorite superheroes and have a chance to actually be a teenager again won out over my hatred of snow and cold. [A quick pause to look around to make sure there are no more snowmen or surprise snowballs incoming. He then looks to Billy and grins, offering his normal hand.[]

Hi. I'm Victor...and you must be Wiccan.

[Peter stays up on the rooftop for a little longer, waiting and watching to see if any more snowballs are going to be headed his way. Only when he realizes that a truce is being called does he decide it's time to go join everybody down on good ol' terra firma. Which is almost too bad, since he's sure the snowballing will resume eventually.

With an almost resigned sigh, Peter launches himself from the roof at the nearest tree, catches himself by a branch, swings forward, back (thank God for the gloves that he found lying around), and then lets himself drop into the snow with a WHUMP. He's not far from where Billy and the others are, so he walks over to them with an easy roll of his shoulders. He reaches them as introductions are being made and greets them on his approach with a smile and a wave before slipping his hands into his pockets.]

Are we trading code names? I was just gonna come up and say 'Hi, I'm Peter,' but...

[He chuckles at Victor, nodding and grinning as he slips an arm casually around Billy's shoulders, patting his out of breath boyfriend in comfort.] I thought that prospect might pull you out of hiding. How can you resist hanging with your favourite superheroes? I know I wouldn't be able to!

Yeah, this is the one I was telling you about, B. He-- [He cuts off as Peter lands in the snow a little away from them, making him turn to make sure the sound wasn't another killer snowman. He grins to the other teen as he heads over, apparently safe from Frosty the Evil Snowman.]

Well, Vic here figured me out - apparently I'm not so good at hiding my super secret identity from other green people. [Another chuckle, and he notes absently that he hasn't stopped grinning since he and Billy left their apartment. Clearly he has the best ideas.] But we won't bully you into telling again.

[He smiles and takes Victor's hand and shakes it.]

Oh hey, you can just call me Billy. But uh, yeah that's me.

[Billy still has to actually compute that Victor was actually a YA fan. He wasn't going to lie, that was pretty cool. He jumps slightly and looks over as Peter joins them.]

Yeah, Teddy sucks at keeping secrets, so if we ever throw a part for a birthday, you'll probably know about it before you should.

[ooc: This is a lame ass tag, sorry guys.]

I'm Anole but you can call me Victor. Man, I'm glad to meet you two even if it is in this weird place.

[Peter's sudden appearance makes Victor jump too. He turns quickly, clawed hand ready to strike. He relaxes when Teddy and Billy act friendly towards the new guy. Looking a little embarrassed, he offers his normal hand to Peter.]

I'm Victor. And Teddy's not that bad with secrets. I'm just good at figuring things out.

[For a second he almost reacted to Victor's sudden aggressive stance, but once the posture is dropped he relaxes as well, his smile splitting into a friendly grin. He reaches to take the offered hand and give it a shake.] Nice to meet you, Victor. I'm Peter.

And I think Teddy's just got one of those faces that give everything away, actually. So I guess he can't help being bad at secrets. [He turns his grin on Teddy for a second, giving a tiny shrug of his shoulders as if to say 'Hey, can I help it if it's the truth?'] I just hope "honest face - bad at secrets" isn't contagious.

[The brief hints of aggression between Vic and Peter had him panicking just a little. The last thing he needed was his friends freaking out and attacking each other. He relaxes when they do, grin back in place.]

Right, because you're Mister I-Can-Keep-Secrets, Pete. Maybe I caught it from you! [He sticks his tongue out at Peter, then pouts a little at his friend. He had thought Peter had known about he and Billy; given how he and Billy had been talking, he couldn't be blamed!! Peter hadn't been so good at hiding his own secret, had he? At least he hadn't blabbed to Victor about who Peter actually was!

Pushing Billy gently, he pointed towards a nearby cafe.]

Let's go get hot chocolate! It's freezing!

[And then suddenly, as they're heading across, he stops.]

Oh!! Speaking of birthdays! I was speaking to Laura, Vic, and she decided her birthday would be next month, so we have to throw a party for her!

We're all pretty bad then, and good at figuring things out. Or annoying people until they spill it.

[He bumps shoulders with Teddy, looking up at him with a grin. He was happy to see that Vic and Peter seemed to be getting on alright, the initial reaction had been worrying but it went away quickly enough.

He looks over and nods, rubbing his hands together.]

Hot chocolate sounds amazing.

[He stops and turns as Teddy talks to Vic, he chuckles and looks at Peter.]

Hope any invitation is extended to us.
