The longer I hang out with the guys the more I long to be like them. I probably never will be though, I'll fake enjoying Soccer, Hockey, Football, probably forever but I'll never enjoy it, *truly*. I long to be in a serious relationship. What am I fifty? Does it matter? Should it? So if it doesn't matter then why do I never persue? Why am I able to ( Read more... )

I can understand how you feel, but I would caution you not to worry. From everything you've just described, I think a lot of women (girls, females, whatever) would love to be in a relationship with you because of how well you seem to get along with and understand the opposite sex. I know it seems like a 'friend' characteristic and you feel as if that's the role you are playing, but when you do find that someone, I think you will discover that your ability to relate in that manner will only make your relationship with her stronger.

I don't know, just my two cents.

You *are* a guy, just not the stereotypical guy. There is absol-bloody-lutely nothing wrong with that. It is like saying I am not a girl, which clearly I am, but I like sports more than the stereotypical girl, and hate shopping and all those things... so... I don't know where I was going with that, in conclusion stereotypes are garbage, and everyone should stop paying attention to them... in *my* ideal society that would happen. We don't live there though ( ... )

Why question? You have to decide whether or not it was helpful or not. I re-read it and am kind of asking myself what I was thinking lol.

Just type hug. No need for that 'e' stuff... plus that reminds me of "natural logs" (e) in calc. shudders.

from yet another different point of view, (the view from another guy that is friendly and comfortable around girls, but doesn't ask them out), your odds are much in your favour for if you decide to ask. *thumbs up*
