Hi there! Luckily, my mom didn't break her hip. She fell on her head which caused internal bleeding--not very nice. The swelling went down so there was no need to operate this time.

I feel terrible about not keeping up with LJ reading and will endeavor to catch up. Hugs back!!

Yes, mom got all moved in to her old room at the facility so that is positive.

Oooh, Sigur Rós are one of my absolute favourite bands. They were in Australia recently but I missed out on tickets (they sold out in minutes!). Their music moves me right to the core of my soul.

So much is happening in your life! School and family and babies! I hope your mom is doing better. Good luch with the studies! Do you hope to gain the editing certificate for a career change or is it something that will be a hobby? :)

Twice I've purchased tickets through their web site and gotten terrific seats--though yes, the seat allotment sell out in minutes. The effort is worth it to sit up close.

Thanks for your good wishes! My current job will end one of these days. Plus, I don't like it very much and I'm not very good at it. So I need to retrain myself for something else. Editing is something I've always wanted to try. Might as well give it a go and see if I can do it!

Lots of good things happening, yes. There always are, really. Sometimes the good things are hard to see but they're there.
