General Tso's {$meat}
Much like my favorite soda is Dr Pepper, my favorite Chinese food dish has always been General Tso's chicken. It's not sweet & sour chicken, it's not orange chicken; it's a third way. I'm stuck indoors this weekend with a stomach bug, so I'm zipping through the plays. Yesterday, I read the entirety of "Twelfth Night", and this morning I finished "Troilus and Cressida".

Shakespeare 23: Hamlet
Last weekend I finished three plays. By Monday morning I was dreaming in pseudo-Shakespearean, and saying, "Ay, marry!" when people asked me questions.

Shakespeare 22: As You Like It
I liked "As You Like It" quite a bit. I know I seem to say this about each new comedy I read, but as I was reading it I thought this was my favorite, and the funniest, Shakespeare comedy so far.

Plays 12 through 21
I have really fallen behind in my Shakespeare schedule! At the start of the year, when I made the resolution to read 'em all in one year, I figured that a play is like a movie, a movie is usually two hours long, and therefore it'd be two hours to read each play. My revised suggestion for a Shakespeare reading order
As you no doubt recall, enraptured reader of my every LiveJournal post, I've been reading all of Shakespeare's plays in mostly chronological order. That is, in the order in which he wrote them, according to the Wikipedia article Chronology of William Shakespeare's plays. A break from Shakespeare: "Little House in the Big Woods", "Catcher in the Rye", "Pigeon Feathers"
I'm still struggling through the histories. I haven't actually checked, but it feels like they are much longer than the tragedies and comedies I was reading before. Those, it felt like, only took a couple of hours to read with their footnotes, while I can sit for six hours with one of the Henries and only be partially through it.
