New computer update
I've reinstalled some more stuff now, including the biggest item of all, The Sims -- including all of my downloads, creations, saved families and neighborhoods, and the downloaded accessory programs (for editing stuff outside the game)! It took a while, but not as long as I'd feared.
I'm also getting used to Thunderbird (Mozilla's email program). It's taking me a while to find where they hid some of the setings, but once I've found them all, it may turn out to be an improvement over Outlook Express. :-)
Other things I've installed include: Firefox (as mentioned earlier), Second Life (screen name "Aaron Kukulcan"), There (screen name "Aaron_of_Mpls") and its accessory programs, IMVU (screen name "AaronOfMpls"), SimCity 3000, and SimCity 2000. And things I plan to install later are: SimCity 4, Civilization III, and maybe Civilization II.
