One of my family's cats died. He was very old and very sick. We had him since elementary school or middle school or sometime like that. I liked him a lot, he was sweet and hugged back when you picked him up.

I think our society treats death badly. When someone dies I don't know my lines - I don't know what to say or do. We also hide death away so you can't see it for real and face it and deal with it. People just disappear. Maybe they moved to Tanzania and just didn't want to tell you ( Read more... )

I'd been having sneezy, runny eyes, and stuffy since about 3:30 yesterday afternoon. Maybe it was something the baby was drooling on me, maybe it was the lavender conditioner in my hair which I usually don't use.
