ANOTHER one of those crafty weeks where nothing goes right. Course, these are things that I've never tried before, but still.
(
Warning: Crafty Rant

*hugs*
Sometimes you just want to toss up your hands and kick the world when crafts don't go right, but...then...there's that little whisper that says..."try again..."

*hugs back*
It's good to keep about a gazillion projects going at once so the one that goes wrong can be ignored for awhile.
Shame on you, bad craft. Go sit in the corner.

If the first fabric doesn't succeed, cut, cut again. ;)

Wow, you have been frustrated with all those buggers and arses flying around!
My mom is a pro at matching plaids. You would have loved the pieces she made for me in the 80s...vests, skirts, etc, ALL matched. Crazy woman!
I can't wait to see the new costuming project. I'm sure you'll make it exactly what you want it to be. :)

I'm usually not this vulgar. I WAS frustrated. Better now. :)
It is so nice to have a crazy-in-a-good-way kind of mum. Conversely, it's so nice to have kids to hone your sewing skills on!
Now that I've navigated away from the plaid, I'm back to being excited about this project, too.

Yay for being better now! Even your minor bit of vulgarity was charming. ;)
