How exciting! Knitting is one thing I have never mastered, despite the best efforts of master knitter hardhatcat.

Totally exciting! I'm a loooong way to mastery, and I'm sure I'll be bugging everyone with questions.:)

As in everything you try, I'm sure you'll do brilliantly!

Oh, stop! Somehow, I can't ever imagine myself learning decreases, or fair isle, or circular needles. Maybe I'll be relegated to scarves forever.

Now, if I can just decode the strange and otherworldly language of crochet....

Oh, please. I almost screamed in joy when I first knit stockinette. I almost danced when I knit in the round for the first time on double pointed needles.

I have a feeling when I piece my first full quilt top, I just might have a full-on disco party!

You don't need to rip it, you're the only one who sees anything uneven or any holes. Congratulations, well done!

Awwww, thank you! In real life, it's pretty gnarly, and not in a good, surfer-dude kind of a way.

Go you!! That's a very handsome stockinette if I do say so myself (and I do)! Keep at it, lady :D
