Among my FB contacts is a fellow named Lee Lewis. We had a mild association/acquaintance with each other back in the day through Trek fandom. Turns out he is part Cherokee and is doing small things to help promote the language as well (ie: flash cards, translations of pop culture items, etc). You might want to give him a "Hello" and see what happens.
