Encouragers?

Jan 03, 2009 18:28

So, I have a man that wants me to gain weight.

Not of fat, though. "Man, if you bulked up and added on muscle and got to 160 or so that's be so fucking hot."

So, since it's muscle can you still use the term "encourager" here? :: laugh :: Don't get me wrong, I'd love to bulk up, but wanting and doing are two different things ...

Your build is fine.

I want to encourage my mustache handlebars to get busy and not grow towards my mouth.

Lemme add my 2¢ worth... I think your build is fine as well. As a matter of fact I'm remembering certain pix of you modeling your fundoshi that I thought were rather nice to look at. *lick*

Heheh, I -- believe it or not -- had a decent build a while ago and was working towards this goal (I love feeling strength in my upper body!), but after my sister passed it I stopped going and am trying to find the catalyst to go back.

Okay, so you're actually 140 lbs ?
... this all has to do with the metabolism.

Most folks who do gain the weight, usually have trouble with liver, and the inner organs trying to process stuff... which causes a slower metabolism and turns into fat.

GNC - weight gain pills, protein pills will really do a number on getting most people to bulk up fast... and sadly, all that stuff that gets gained is so hard to shake off.

Steroids can also cause weight gain, and FAKE muscle growth. You'll have the mass - but not the ability to lift very heavy things. When used too much, or really desperate people will get it from someone who works under the table in some gym... it will do things, such as Wrestler Benoit did - drive someone to hormonal imbalance.

--- If someone you know, has that athletic experience and background and lives closer to you in your neighborhood, "that" person should really show you how things are done... and also suggest "what" not to use.

Guard your health - lots of awful products in the market.

Heheheh, I'm not in any particular rush, so worry not; I won't be turning to anything like steroids. Like I said above in another response, I had gained about 12 pounds of muscle at one point in time before it all atrophied away and I'm back to about 127 pounds ...

Well, one benefit of having low body fat is that all muscle tone you add is pretty readily apparent. I never thought I'd say this, but I really miss going to the gym. :-( A few years back when we were going to the gym 3 or 4 times a week, I was in fantastic shape.
