Is it bad that I'm so lazy I didn't even bother to read that in Spanish, just think to myself how peculiar the diction is in English? Eh hehehe...引っ越すのは楽しいわ!

Is it also bad that I now very closely resemble a hideous LJ sniper with less than 1-minute response time?

I only read it in Spanish. :)
Question for you, Roger: when you post these multi-language dealies, do you write it out in English first and then translate?

I can just about guarantee that it goes the other way around. In my experience, when working with foreign languages if you start with English it never sounds right in the translation, and it's a lot easier to fix your native language when it sounds funny than it is to fix a nonnative one.

It makes sense you'd have mixed feelings...if you care about where you live it's sad when you leave it, no matter how happy the reason for leaving it. Here's to moving out and moving on! Go you!

Good luck with the move. I know it's always weird. I had to look back wondering how I missed you mentioning it before and it was just after my shift on Friday so I must not have completed my weekend reading. Take care and enjoy the new place. Don't forget to get me your new address. And if you give me your number and some idea what your work schedule is like, maybe I'll give you a call sometime. :)

I'm impressed with how much of that spanish I actually understood.

I was always told I have a gift for languages, but I've known for some time they lied *wink*. So it makes me a little bit jealous to see people so completely multi-lingual...but at the same I kind of like to bask in their success. *laughs*

To the actual *content* of the post... I've moved many, many times, and I've never felt that kind of sentimental thing, not really. I don't have 'souvenirs' of my life. I've never collected anything that way. I wonder what it would be like if I did...
