With the exception of Bonnie being unforgivably absent again and all the Klaus/Caroline bits, I really liked this episode. For many of the reasons you pointed out. Especially relating to Rebekah and Elijah and how their stupid faces and occasionally awesome character arcs are going to make me watch that damn spin-off.

WE WERE ALMOST RID OF HIM! And then these HORRIBLE/AMAZING people kept coming into our lives and now I cannot quit them!
