As a history-based community, we're obviously focusing on fandoms that occurred in the past. How FAR in the past is up for debate, but something that takes place in, say, the 1980s is probably not going to fly. Mythology is a fine line, since one person's myth can be another person's religion, and I don't want to step on any toes. But what I'm saying right now is that you can use mythology tangentially, so if you're, say, writing a fic about someone who believes in the Greek gods, that's a perfectly valid reason to discuss them. But you wouldn't be able to make an entire fic or graphic JUST about the gods themselves. I hope that makes sense?
