You may say it's been awhile since you last wrote, but honestly, I couldn't tell. Absolute brilliance, and I love how they're sort of two halves of a whole. I especially liked this line: "Everything is news and everything is known, every touch is the first touch made for the millionth time." Fantastic!

Absolutely great. I have to agree with Meghan about this line too: "Everything is news and everything is known, every touch is the first touch made for the millionth time." I think using the quotes as the introdcutions to both pieces is a really nice touch too. It doesn't seem to me like you've been away from your pen!
