What if you die in this world?

That possibility does make me any less here right now.

But if it happens you won't be able to go back home and fix whatever it is thats going on there.

There's a chance I can't anyway. Maybe it's different for me; for me it may already be too late there. This is a second chance.

I understand that completely, but how am I supposed to be of help when I'm just a normal human? I'm not a superhero or anything.

Will you tell me about yourself? Your hobbies and interests? Your school? Your friends?

I'm Kyon. I'm a high school student from Japan. It's the same as all other schools, we have clubs and fairs and things of those sort. I like to read about mythology and science. My friends... well...

My classmates are normal, but one of my friends is an alien, the other is a time-traveler, and the other is an ESPer. And then there's Haruhi, but she's another thing entirely...

Your friends, are they also here?

As for you, what are you hoping? To find a reason to have been brought here? Or to prove there is not one for you?

I think more of the issue with some of the people here is that they could've asked us first before taking us.

That would obviously be preferable.
But, is it possible?

I'm just saying that's the problem the people are having. Not that they're smart enough to realize the truth behind it.

To be honest, if the Warden had come to me in my world...I would have definitely sympathized, but I would have said, "I can't come." And I am angry I'm here instead of fixing the problems in my world. I'm angry that I'm even separated from the Prince even more than before, and for longer now.

But it's right for me to fight for this place.

Go, Rei-chan! That really makes sense. ♥ When you put it that way, everyone will want to help out!

It's not for me to make that decision for them.

But I take it you've decided to fight willingly?

Well, that's what speeches are for, anyway! Otherwise, why would we do them?

Of course! ♥ I'm a soldier of love and justice, after all.

We are forced to be here. To do our best, to give this place our heart for a little while, that choice is still ours.

Well then he should have been more polite.

Maybe that wasn't possible. The machine may not allow for communication. That would leave little choice.

I mean the whole "You WILL cooperate. Go get stuck in a room with random people and do as we say. Oh and by the way I took away your last and only physical freedom of flight. And just in case you forgot: you WILL do this this and this blah blah I'm a jackass." Right. Like their aren't better ways to go about things.
