I need to re-check on rss especially readers. A few years ago when rss was new and pre-written readers were just gleams in various programmers eyes I wrote my own rss processor which checked a bunch of rss feeds checked to see if anything had changed since the last run and sent me an email with the update summaries and links. But the computer that run the processor was shutdown and I never got around to re-setting it up. Now if someone else has done the hard work, I should be able to take advantage of if.
