By the time her phone rings Livvie has, more or less, decided it probably won't before the sun rises. She's not sure when or why she's come to that conclusion, but it seems like a good idea. Decide it won't happen. Make plans in the meantime ( Read more... )

Oops..... Dib was not expecting and answer. At all. Because its...its holy crap o'clock in the morning.

"Uhm...hi. Sorry to wake you. And, uhm, worry you... and. Yeah."
He's managing to sound panicked while speaking in a monotone. That's rather impressive.

"I wasn't asleep." Which is true enough. Livvie sounds...worried, but not groggy or tired. Just kind of out of it. "I want to talk to you, in person, where are you?"

Calm down, woman. There's also a lot of background noise as she makes her way back into the building.

"Yes, now." It doesn't sound angry but Livvie's not booking for argument, Dib. In fact, she's probably going to steamroll you into several conversations before the evening is over.

"I was home. On the roof." More rustling. Obtaining keys, purse. Then out the door. "I'll be there in 15 minutes." Click. Sorry, Dib.

And she is, true to her word, knocking on the door some 18 minutes later. Getting there might have involved some colorful words between Livvie and Judah's car, but she got there.
