Eddie keeps an eye on Simon, seeing as how he's his neighbor, and all, but he isn't offering any conversation. He has his own problems to deal with, right now.

No conversation is good company. Simon is reading. He's going to be sad when he runs out of book.

Eddie tries to get as much of a glimpse of the book as possible. He didn't get library time, yesterday. Life is terrible.

Dan comes back in an hour, to pick up the trays. He looks worried, when he realises Simon hasn't even drunk his shake. "Not hungry?"

He shakes his head, turning a page. "Thanks, but no."

"If you're sure." He doesn't seem sick, or very upset... so Dan decides not to press. Though he will make a note of it, in.. whatever orderlies are allotted, for such things. The tray is retrieved, and away he goes.

Maybe stealing a few nibbles. But that's not a crime, right? It's just going to go to waste if he doesn't...

Nope, not sick. But he is upset. And he's dealing with it quietly. But the next meal goes untouched too.
