Almost immediately after depositing Simon safely in his cell, Giles is sprinting to House's office.

Partially to get his plan out before he starts to pick out it's illogical bits, and partially to beat whatever gossip the guards are spreading about him.

It could work. It could get Simon to trust him, just a little bit. Enough to get him to eat

The assistant, an older woman who doesn't really get phased by much at this place anymore, is definitely amused.

"Doctoh House is in his office. Get in there an' wake him up." See, she knows him already.

Except he's not asleep, he's deep in contemplation. With his eyes shut.

Meditation. It can be meditation.

A soft knock is all the warning House will get, before Giles comes in his office. He's a man on a mission.

"*Ahem*. Doctor? May I have a moment of your time?"

There we go. He's a zen master.

A slightly startled zen master.

"... Giles. What do you want?"

The startled act was for Giles' benefit. The british are notoriously known for fearing zen masters.

"I wanted to, uhm, go over with you and get permission to try a radical idea involving Mr. Garoux's therapy. An idea that I... already began to implement."

Translation: I did a thing and I want you to say it's alright, kay?
