There's a feeling of animosity that develops for old places of employment. Especially when the separation wasn't amicable. For Geoffrey, the wounds are still fresh and he doesn't want to have to deal with the new staff... The new superintendent manhandling his pretty asylum.
Eddie should be grateful for Geoffrey coming at all. More so that he doesn't just scream in frustration and leave when he finds that Dr. House will be present for their whole visit time. Instead he just takes on a very stiff pout at the news and isn't sure what to talk about. Not with company. "Well, this is awkward."
Eddie is cooperative all the way here. Oooh, walking around outside of his cell and everything! It's a great day. Except for House being here. He likes House just fine... but is this really necessary?

"Well, none of them have my job." And it is still his job, House. You're just keeping his seat warm. Also, the orderlies and guards barely count as people to Geoffrey, so they're much easier to ignore.
He exaggerates a sigh and settles into his chair. "I was formally acquitted. So, no more lawyers and court appearances, or any of that...awfulness. So, I can visit now. If they have a problem, it would be double jeopardy hmm?" He smirks, but doesn't really find it very funny. He lost a lot in a trial he won.
