Daniel, of course, of course, comes to visit him. Once. Twice. But both times, it ends badly, the first with awkward silence, and the second, with the news that he's taken a new job at Veidt Enterprises and effectively ceased his... nighttime activities, with raised voices, then awkward silence, until Daniel gave up, and left him with a quiet goodbye.
