Life is a river.

For the past few weeks I have been getting to know him.
Nick is his name.
He worries about me, kisses me and looks me in the eyes.
I adore Nick.

My grandmother fell on her hip half way to Redding, CA from Penn Valley, CA (three hour drive). We made it to her cousin's house where we had Thanksgiving after my grandmother visited the emergency room.
