Thank you! I've really been in the mood to use bright, vivid colors lately - I've been bumping up the saturation on everything. :)

I wish there was a way to get all that texture to show up in a smaller version, but without losing any of the detail. I think the thing I like best about the big version, though, is Sirius' eyes - I was happy with that bit!

Oooooh it's LOVELY! *squees* I do so love it, and I even saved the larger one for use on my desk top.

Thank you so much dear! *hugs*

Oh, I'm so glad you like it! I really did have something completely different in mind - something like an old Art Nouveau poster, but with a celtic designed frame, and it just didn't turn out like that at all, lol.

You're so very welcome! It makes me happy to think of it being used on your desktop! :)

Thanks so much! I wanted to use fall colors, but I wanted them really bright and rich - I'm so glad you liked my color choices! :)

ZOMG! YAY! Sirius looks like Elvis a little bit...>_>

I'm highly amused by it. I think your texture is amazing on the larger version. Thanks so much for sharing!

Ha ha!! Omg, he does - now I can't unsee it. At least he looks like young Elvis! :D

So glad you liked the texture! Painter is a really wonderful program for that - so many choices (though I tend to pretty much always go with the same thing, I've noticed; this grainy sort of texture.)

Thanks, remeciel! I had a lot of fun with the landscape in the background. The colors of the sky aren't very realistic, but I liked them, so I went with reds and violets anyway. :)

I need to get back to traditional media, though - I'm so out of practice. I ordered some new blendable colored pencils today. Maybe when they come, I'll have to do some fanart to try them out!

I've loved all your artwork so far, digital or traditional. But that's true, I kind of miss the illustrations you made with just a pencil. :D

Blendable colored pencils? I've never heard of these (or maybe I did, but I hust don't know the English translation.)

These are the pencils I've ordered: Fantasia Colored Pencils. They're supposed to be richer in color than Col-Erase pencils, which are also blendable (and eraseable). I have the Col-Erase pencils, and I like them, but I've always wished they were darker and richer in color, so I hope the Fantasia ones are as rich as they say! Regardless, it's always fun to get new art supplies, lol - sort of an early Christmas present to myself. *g*
