Thank you so much! There are pictures available of a young Jensen to use for reference, but not so many of Jared, so I had to try to visualize what his face would look like with a little baby fat still there and his features proportioned like a child's. I'd love to see a real pic of him at 10 yrs old!

that pic is amazing. dean especially really looks like a younger jensen. i really like the fic too, with dean and his wee harem and sam disliking the girls so much he can't even remember their names. (hee!) the voice is really good - ten-year-old sammy is just adorable, even when he's cranky - and i like the little reassurances that dean will always look out for him.

Thank you! I was hoping that it would look like a young Jensen and Jared, at least a little. I had a great picture of Jensen about that age to use as reference, but none for Jared, so I had to wing it. :o)

'Harem', I like that, lol. Dean would have been such a beautiful boy that I just know girls took one look at him and tried to follow him home! So glad you liked the story!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked the story, and saying that it brought back childhood memories makes me feel like I got it right a little. *g* It's funny how my own childhood memories started coming back to me when I was writing it, things *I* had forgotten about.

And I'm glad you liked my version of John and Jim. I've been dying to know more about Jim since 'Something Wicked' and I have this whole background story in my head about his friendship with John, how they met, etc. Unless and until show canon tells me otherwise, it's the story I'm sticking with! There's just something I really like about Jim - maybe it's just that he's someone John trusted enough to leave his boys with...that says a lot about Jim, I think.

And I'm so glad you liked the drawing! I just wanted to see a picture of Sam and Dean in happier times. :o)

Thanks so much! I'm so glad people are liking the story. It was an afterthought, really, and kind of wrote itself in my head while I was drawing, but by the time I was done, I knew that I wanted to type it up! :o)

It means a lot that people like this story because as much as I love artwork, and that's what my background is in, my not-so-secret wish (since the age of six) was to be a writer.
