Fuuuuuu this is always the downside to playing a villain character! I'd sign Bakura up for Hearts but no one in their right mind would tell hm about something like this.

It's actually pretty easy to know about the rebellion. I mean, one time posters were even used for advertising I think? I might need back up from Mon on this, but you could probably handwave him knowing and still join if you really wanted?

Aki's right. We've had anti-hero and villanous types kind of work with the rebellion before. And it's no secret that a goood number of subjects are rebelling, so.

Code Name: Ice Cream (pretty badass, right?)
Suggested SUIT: Hearts
Suggested IR: Card, probably pretty low.
Strengths: Very knowledgeable in battle tactics and a trained military weapons expert. She also has good observation and analysis skills. The whole controlling electricity thing might come in handy.
Weaknesses: 9882's always been a rebel, but only as much as she can be. It's difficult for a Misaka to get really passionate about anything. She'll seem less enthusiastic about the work or the cause itself than most rebellion members, and though she will follow orders, she can come across as rude and brutally honest when she probably shouldn't be.
Works Best With: Meh.
Cannot Work With: Meh. If someone gets on her nerves she'll express this but go on with her mission as planned.

Hey mon can we handwave Sollux offering to be the leader cause I'm on hiatus?

ALSO: This is my general. Sollux wants to be the leader of diamonds post, so other contenders. lets talk i guess? i have no idea how this will be decided, and i'm okay with sollux not being the leader (though he will fight for it?) but yes. lets plot?

Since Alex Mercer and Jet both offered for the candidacy of Diamonds leader, we discussed and thought it might be fun for Jet and Alex to co:lead and share the position if picked. While I'll admit this was originally thought up for amusement's sake (because the two hate each other) it can be argued that Jet and Alex make a pretty skilled team ( ... )

The only thing Sollux has going for him is (secret douchebag style) compassion, tech skills, and psionics. He's 14, he's emotionally unbalanced, fuck I don't know if he'd be a good leader or not, but the fact that he wants to step up and try to fill that slot if it's necessary? It speaks to his own personal development. That's why I want him to engage in this more than anything else, but obviously since he's just a kid with his own share of rather significant problems I don't expect him to be a leader, or the good choice for it. Unfortunately, IC-ly he knows the people who are in charge of picking the next leader very well. So. I guess I was concerned about. IC favoritism or something of that ilk, and I really don't want to stop other people from getting their characters involved in that way, so if you two want to cohost it I'm totally cool with that? I think we should probably call michi or amanda in here though since their chars are in charge of this. I'll probably IM them about it next time I see them, but I'm very busy this ( ... )

/nod nod yup, that's why I wanted us all in one little thread so that it's easy for them to see everyone who wants to be involved.

I'll confess I do reallllly want the position if only because Jet spends most his free time obsessing about the rebellion already (he's a freedom fighter- it's kind of his thing) and now I'll have an actual reason to bring up half the plots I do |D Jet also really respected Sora and Sasha, but yes Sollux being close with Sasha and John does make him a valid choice too.

No worries, it's a busy time of the year. I don't think there is much we can really discuss anyway but I won't have any hard feelings either way ^__^ I'll probably continue to suggest plots all the same. Mon knows we have this thread up, so Amanda should find it one way or another I think.

Code Name: Skull
Suggested SUIT:Probably Hearts?
Suggested IR: John's a soldier. He's good at following orders. Whatever you think.
Strengths: Non-magical battlefield triage (he's an army-trained surgeon), steady shooting (he's a crack shot with a hand gun), army-instill discipline. John is basically suited to be a soldier and is, I believe, the only non-magical medical doctor at Fac.
Weaknesses: Not being in enough danger? He gets off on it. Danger to his friends. Sometimes his morality has a few issues pointing true north all the time.
Works Best With: John gets along with almost everyone. He can put up with a LOT. He lives with Sherlock Holmes after all.
Cannot Work With: Probably no one. He's fairly easy going.
Additional Notes: John doesn't have any weapons, unless you count a few medical supplies. He's also good in a fist fight, has hand to hand combat training, and can work under extreme pressure (see battlefield triage).

Really, the way you phrase him it sounds more like he'd work best in CLUBS, which - the only reason I bring it up is because that's the weakest SUIT right now. Would you mind terribly much if he was there instead?

John can certainly do CLUBS. He's just not a brute force sorta guy. Also, I might have to hold off to see how long/if Fac moves to DW on John at least because I won't be bringing him along, most likely.

Is it alright if I assume that Milla and Alessa have been involved since May, or should I sign them up again?

If the former, Milla's up for taking Sasha's old position, and if the latter, I get that she's probably not trusted enough yet.
