[Unlike last time he's so very aware of his surroundings. So on edge that he has to be so he's not startled into blasting someone on accident. Remus' hovering presence is both calming and an annoyance but he's sure that it's all his fault with his temper having seen it's worst since the fight that got him disowned.

Sure James had never seen him this angry but that was only because he hadn't been there that day. He wasn't proud of the temper he'd gotten from his mum, but this week it had just spiraled out of control. There had been so few people in his life that he actually cared about until he went to school. Pushing those thoughts aside Sirius turns towards Remus. It's been rather curious lately - his friend's recent reaction to him. Ever since the last full moon when he'd found an unconscious Remus - and Remus wouldn't even talk about it. Now there was even more of it with the way Remus held back, lingering by the door.

Casually he leans against a standing trunk of a tree, arms crossing over his chest.]I suppose you saw my

Mm. If nothing else they know everything. It's disconcerting. [And odder still how Remus just accepts this, threading his fingers into Sirius' hair because he knows his friend likes it. It makes him feel better. Small comforts.] You know I do anyway.

There are plenty of things I'd like to do to them if I ever get near them. [It was a threat he intended to keep one day. Though his eyes close a moment after Remus' fingers slide through his dark hair, completely relaxing now.] Like hell you do. If you can keep something a secret then you will. [Though when it's said there's a smile growing across Sirius' lips.]

I'd like to deactivate Val, personally. [Remus smiles slightly, both at the idea and the fact that Sirius is relaxing.] There's nothing wrong with keeping secrets.

Spread her little technological parts all of the worlds. [There's a laugh now - real and a little light-hearted.] Not always but you're just rubbish at lying to keep your secrets.

I kept a rather large one for nearly three years, didn't I?

We were onto you before the first year ended. We just didn't know what your secret was.

Which means I am slightly good at keeping secrets.

Only with people who hardly know you at all.

That's got to count for something, doesn't it?

I'm not entirely sure if it does, mate.
