Summary: Knives just found out that her not-friend bit it, and goes to check on him.

Even if that person was Knives Chau?

The answer would likely be, yes, even if it was Knives, Gideon would still give that person hell for trying to get into his room....Not that didn't stop Knives from doing so, anyways.

After spending time with him as best friends who hide nothing from each other during wish week, she knew enough about Gideon to call him out on his bluffs. She also knew that dying at the hands of Ramona messed him up in more ways than she could count. It was her responsiblility as his (not)friend to make sure he was okay. Even if he didn't want her to.

Not bothering to announce herself or anything, Knives flung open Gideon's door and flopped onto the spot next to him on the bed. "I know what you're going to say, Gideon. 'Leave me alone, Knives. I don't need your help, and you're super annoying. Blah, blah, blah. But I'm not going to listen, and I'm not going to leave you alone. You need a friend and I'm that friend. So don't even try, okay."

Gideon startles upright when he feels someone plop down on the bed next to him, scrabbling backwards to press up against the wall and shoot whoever it is his very best death glare.

He opens his mouth to rebuke her, but he's immediately cut off by her little tirade. And he keeps trying to make little interjections--and each time she talks over him. It sort of pisses him off.

So instead, shocked and still emotionally fucked up and just not thinking straight, he jumps up from his bed. And kicks a few disturbed tiles of his floor away, revealing the katana he's kept hidden for so long. He snatches it up and points it at her, still trying to hold his glare.

"No--fuck! I said I didn't want to see anyone, dammit! Why do you always have to try to help me?!"

He should know by now that Knives Chau is a talker. She never lets anyone get a chance to say anything while she's talking, especially if she thinks what she's saying is super important. And in this case, she considers her words to be super freaking important.

She's totally caught off guard when he suddenly brandishes his really sharp katana at her. Definitely wasn't expecting him to do that. But instead of shying away, she glares and shouts back at him:

"Well I didn't hear that, so I don't care!" If Gideon made a network post about his wish to say alone and sad in his room, either Knives missed it completely or simply ignored it. "And I totally just said why! I'm your friend, and friends are supposed to help each other!! DUH!!!"

"Well, I'm not a nice guy! I don't make 'friends'!" Gideon shouts back. "You need to realize that. I don't trust people--I just don't, okay? Trust is just another form of leverage that people can use against me! It's... it's just an excuse to be hurt."
