It had been a day and Gideon had scarcely ventured out of his room.
He'd visited with Patel and gotten the remnant of his wound taken care of to the point where he didn't have to worry about it any more. But beyond that, he just didn't really feel like being around people right now. Getting freshly offed by the girl you still have lingering feelings for tends to do that to you--even if some subconscious part of him did feel like he deserved it.
In any case, he was just laying face-down on his bed right now, not planning on moving any time soon. His faciliberry was off and shoved in his desk. And if anyone tried to come into his room, he told himself that he'd give them hell for it.
