Who: Axel, Roxas, Sora, Sai, Jet, Erutis, Usagi, Kanda, Link, Kenshin, Allen, Tasuki, Samus and anyone who wants to watch!
When: Wednesday afternoon
Where: The biodome, inside a ring of sticks strung together with...string, away from the bits that are destroyed.
Summary: TOURNAMENT TIME! All that planning is actually being put to use!
Rating: PG-13

He was on his way to the ring, when he sensed a familiar chakra signature. He turned to the spectator area and saw Gaara.

When Sai's gaze met his, the redhead nodded to him in greeting, not being one to spontaneously call out. His interest had been roused upon learning of Sai's participation, and he came to observe the matches, though he stayed in a secluded area.

Gaara didn't know who Jet was, and intended to keep an eye on him. Not that he didn't have confidence in his boyfriend's fighting capabilities, but his protective nature wouldn't just leave so readily.

Sai stared back at him, not sure what he was doing there. After their last conversation, he assumed Gaara wouldn't want to speak to him. He had upset him after all. So, why was he here? He was curious.

Dark eyes, stayed on him, though he remained quiet, not sure if he should interrupt the silence.

Samus had said that fighting was fighting, no matter how stupid it looked. But this get-up even beat the Federation bridge outfits in terms of stupid. Not to mention the bat wouldn't have been her first choice of weapon. She was far better at shooting or hand-to-hand, and the closest thing to a melee weapon she'd ever practiced with were the staffs the Chozo used early in her training, before moving her on to firearms.

She examined the bat as she stepped into the ring, then cast a glance in the direction of the man who was apparently behind this farce. "Hey, ref! Do the rules so we have to use these thingies?" She held up the bat to show what she meant. She knew even if her opponent chose to hold on to her own weapon, she'd probably stand a better chance using her speed and agility to snatch the balls away by hand.

Well, sucked to be her. But just because she had to use the bat-thingie didn't mean she still couldn't use her speed and agility advantages (if, indeed, she had them against her opponent). She'd just have to be a little more clever.
