The thing about suddenly being something you weren't before, is that the world becomes a very different place overnight. Though physical realities do not truly change, they appear to. And the way you interact with them must change too ... which is something 6 isn't really getting right. Doors shouldn't be so big, for one thing. And the one he's standing outside of now ... well it isn't even his, so what is he supposed to do? He fidgets and pulls at his keys.

" ... Ed?"

"6?" Ed asks, lifting her head off the pillow. "Come in, come in and see Ed."

He doesn't bother to answer. Instead he tries to open the door ... only, it's difficult. He's always had to have people open doors for him, since he was far too small to do anything about it himself. And now ... well now he's trying to figure out this and everything else via trial and error. This would be one of the errors.

When the door finally swings open he isn't quite ready for it and falls, winding up sprawled on the floor. But that's just as well, this is more like the point of view he's used to.

"Hello."

Ed giggled a little, not cruelly but gently, happily. "Now 6 is small again!" she told him. "Hi-hi," she said tiredly. Just her head and neck were showing from under the blankets.

True to what he said earlier, it did take him a rather long time to get to Ed's room.

Suzaku was not only nursing wounds from the earthquake that had happened last week, but also the brawl that he'd fought in. What had been treated, he'd treated himself, from what first aid training he had. His arm was still in its sling, but that was all that was outwardly injured, other than a cut on his lip. He was limping too, his gait far more slow and stiff than it usually was. The sweatpants and the t-shirt weren't too commonplace on him either, but, well, this week was different.

But he showed up; he wouldn't lie to Ed. He rapped his knuckles sharply against her door once he'd gotten there. "Ed? It's me. Suzaku. Can I come in?"

"Come in, come in, quick, quick!" Ed said, she sounded a little brighter than she had earlier. She was still in bed when he entered but she was sitting up, cross legged with a white sheet wrapped around her so only her head was poking out. She grinned tiredly at him, which faded into a look of concern, "Suzaku-zaku is all hurt too!"

"Nah, it's nothing. I got a little banged up last week. There was an earthquake, Ed; it was a big one!" He had a very awkward gait, regardless, definitely favoring his left leg as he shut the door behind him and turned back to Ed, smiling brightly. She was wrapped in the sheet, and Suzaku immediately wondered if she had scars still. Were those words still there? Was she still in pain? He didn't want to ask and upset her, but--

He tugged the desk chair over by her bed, sitting slowly into it. "How're you doing?"

"A big earthquake? Uh-oh!" Ed said. "Earthquakes are no fun!" She was still watching Suzaku's leg as if she was afraid it would fall off. "Suzaku got stuck under something big?" she asked looking up into his face.

Tifa had told Ed she'd be there soon, though soon wasn't really what happened. In fact it had taken her quite a bit of time to locate the room Ed had told her was her's.

She was still very much new to this place. Especially because this was her first encounter with Facility One. She wasn't quite used to the blinding, stark white. When she finally reached the room, she knocked gently.

"Ed?"

"Who is it?" Ed asked through the door. Tifa's voice sounded familiar but the paranoid and sick girl wanted to make sure it was really her.

"It's Tifa. Cloud's friend." she made sure to talk slowly, calm. She was worried about the younger girl, but she had to make sure to stay calm. To let the girl know it was okay, she was there, she wasn't alone anymore.

"Tifa, come in!" Ed said warmly. She was tired sounded and when Tifa came inside she would find Ed wrapped up in her blanket as if it's a cowl. But she's sitting up cross-legged on her bed.

It didn't take Itsuki long to find Edward's room and when he arrived, he knocked on the door. Her voice on the faciliberry earlier in contrast to when he first met her was rather worrisome.

Of course--her death had not exactly been merciful. Even he had been a bit disturbed in watching it on the 'berry screen the week before. His brow furrowed and he frowned as he glanced down at the door knob, waiting for response.

"Who is it?" Ed asked nervously. No one had come to attack her yet, but she couldn't be too careful.

Itsuki lifted his gaze from the door knob when Edward responded. He wasn't really surprised that she sounded so nervous.

"Itsuki," he replied, "May I come in?"

"Itsuki-suki!" Ed sounded tired but excited. "Come in and see Edward!" She was sitting up when he came in but still wrapped in a blanket. But for however tired and sick she looked, she was smiling.
