Steph had been relieved to see that Ed had come back. Well, she hadn't seen it, but she had heard it. The voice of a scared little girl that shouldn't have had to experience such sick and violent murders. Once should never have happened, but murders plural? The Facility was no place for a little girl.

She knocked softly on the door to Ed's room, calling out before she opened the door. "Ed? It's just Steph. I'm coming in, Okay?"

She wasn't prepared to see her vibrant, little Ed in such state of terror. Her rage bubbled under the surface of her reassuring exterior at half strength compared to a few days ago. Steph crouched down by the bed and smiled without showing her teeth. Fangs probably wouldn't help the safety-vide she was trying to throw out. "How are you feeling?"

Ed picked up her head to look at Steph then quickly wrapped her arms around the older girl. She hugged her friend tightly, sobbing into her shirt.

"Edward huuuuuurts," she sobbed. "Hurts so bad!" And she was lonely although those words were somehow harder for her to say, her emotional pain was more difficult for Ed herself to understand let alone explain. "Ed is scared," she whispered this into Steph.

"I know, baby, I know." She switched into maternal mode instantly and was cooing and rubbing Ed's back as she held her.

"I should have been there for you. I'm so sorry. I'm here now and I won't leave until you want me to. Everything is going to be okay."

The lie left a bad taste in her mouth. It would only be okay until the next time someone went crazy. With all these vampires around, it was bound to happen again and soon.

"Not Steph's fault," Ed murmured. "Ed never wants Steph to leave." She looks up into Steph's face. "Does Ed have to talk different? Ed doesn't like it, she doesn't want to say 'i' and 'you,'" she told Steph in an extremely anxious voice. "Edward will never say that other word again but Ed wants to talk like Ed!"

Cloud had been largely out of the loop since Sasha had decided on their first day in London that his best customer was easier to manipulate than fix. Cloud had proven much less useful than the Noah wished, however. When Sasha started ordering him to get people hurt or killed, he'd simply refused. The psychic combat training Sasha had given him over the last few months had, ironically, ensured that the highly trained fighter was only good for fetching cigarettes and listening docilely to rants about the evils of humanity.

When he saw Radical Edward's message, Cloud didn't bother replying. He'd just come right over. He pushed open the door slowly, even though he had headed to her room at his usual too-fast bounding pace.

"Ed? It's me..."

That was one voice Ed was definitely looking forward to hearing. She lifted her head slowly from her pillow looking towards the door. "Cloud come in. Please come in," she said weakly. She buried her face in the pillow again, she didn't want to see the empty room or the scars on her body.

After taking the few small steps to cross the room, Cloud perched himself on the edge of the bed, carefully giving the sword on his back some room to reach the floor. He braced himself just in case Edward was in the mood to pull off a tackle-glomp, but for some reason he wasn't sure she was.

"You're rez-sick, aren't you... "

Ed gave him a weak smile and wave, keeping the blankets pulled up around her. She was certainly paler and more tired looking than usual with deep purple circles under her eyes. She shrugs, "it's like before. With the Sword-Man." She muttered this last part, the Sword-Man was gone, she didn't have to think about him.

From bad to...

not bad.

Can't use that word.

"Edward doesn't feel very good," she decided finally.

Jin-Ho was having a hard time deciding what to do. Ed had asked someone to come see her. But he didn't want to be a bother. But he just wanted to pick her up and hold her and, and a million other things. But he was sure he couldn't help. But she needed all she could get. In the end, he settled on slumping down with his back to her door, lifting a hand to knock over his shoulder.
"Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV, it is Shin Jin-Ho."

He was glad he had managed to get his aura under control after the fighting had erradicated most of his stress-he was sure that if he lost control of his emotions now, he'd kill someone, or say something stupid. Not to mention his aura scared people, and it would break his heart to scare Ed. But he had no idea what to do now. Hopefully, she'd give him a hint.

Edward smiled weakly. Her friends had been coming all day, she felt better for that at least. She needed company, desperately, when she was alone she didn't like where her brain strayed.

"Shin Jin-Ho should come in! Edward wants to see Shin Jin-Ho!" she assured him.

Well, even he couldn't take 'I want to see you' as anything but a clear invitation. He decided not to stand up, instead reaching an arm up to the handle from his position on the floor. As a result, he rolled over backwards into the room, controlling himself so that he ended up on his back, next to the bed.

"Hello."
He gave a tiny little wave-he was terrible at this stuff, but he jwas going to try his best! The great cheering up operation has begun!

Ed couldn't help but smile. If she'd been feeling better she would have joined him there on the floor rolling and doing hand stands, but as if was she didn't feel like she could stand let alone jump around.

She waved back. "Hi-hi," she said weakly. She didn't get out of bed and didn't really move, still lying on her stomach.

Kaito hadn't spoken to Edward since he'd first gotten here, but since he'd heard what had happened to her, he wanted to make sure she was alright. He didn't know what he could do, but it didn't seem right not to at least stop by.

Once he found her room, he paused momentarily before knocking. "Edward-san? This is Kaito. Is it alright if I come in?"

Ed couldn't help but feel a little excited at the prospect of magic, distracted from the soreness of resurrection and the pain of memory. She nodded. "Uh-huh," she muttered softly, lifting her head from her pillow.

Well it was magic she would be getting alright. He couldn't say anything to help her, but he was good at using his gifts to distract people and cheer them up. He opened the door and stepped into the room, flashing Ed a grin. "Hello there Edward-san."

She rolled onto her side to face him, she smiled weakly at him. "Will Kaito show Edward magic?" she asked quietly.

It hadn't taken too long for the roadie to find Ed's room. Even if he hadn't remembered the number exactly he had at least found it. Eddie would've be partially amused by his sudden loss of sense of direction if not for Ed's reaction to coming back. Having heard the usually loud, bouncy girl sound so- frightened was startling. She had reason to be- but it still was unsettling to hear.

He knocked at the door, he frowning a little as he spoke. "Ed? It's Eddie, you okay with me coming in?"

Ed lifted her head from her pillow and gave him a weak affirmative. She rolled over onto her back with a groan of effort being careful to keep the blankets over her scars. If she didn't have to see them then she could pretend they weren't even there.

Eddie didn't need any more encouragement to enter, he turning the door handle and opening the door. The burly roadie only closing it part way behind him as he walked into Ed's room.

He took a seat on the edge of the bed, his expression shifting into a more concerned from as he took in the lump under the covers that was the redheaded hacker.

"You feeling any better kiddo or that a moot question to ask at this point?"

Ed shook her head, "doesn't hurt as bad." Ed wormed her way out from under the blankets so that he could see her face. She gave him a smile. "Will Eddie play Edward a song?"
