Hope's End Guest Post: Day 7

Welcome to Day 7 of Hope’s End! This is where guest writers can have their characters post to the network. These posts will be handled the same way as any other post to the network, but we'll keep them grouped together for everyone's sanity.

All guest characters arrived in Hope’s End with a communicator that resembles a Blackberry. These have text,

[Some kind of...figure...it's a man, he's tall...lingering on the outskirts of the town.

He stands. Silent. Ominous. His very presence is foreboding of imminent catastrophe.]

[A small boy's peering through the window of a building a ways off, squinting to try and make out the figure in the distance.]

[The figure turns his head towards the boy in the window. The small child.

this desert has so many children . . .

His bright red tie sticks out among his monochrome appearance. A business suit.
Can you make out his face yet?

He "stares" back for seconds, moments, minutes.
And like a tarantula, he starts slowly moving out of the line of sight of the window until he disappears completely.

But suddenly the shifting of the sand, very close to the house can be heard, as though being whipped violently by a nonexistent wind. Something about the noises begs investigation and incites uneasiness.

Or is it just your imagination?

[Alma watches until the man is out of slight, thoroughly unnerved by the odd movements and ominous silence. He grips the window sill hard, jumping at the shifting sounds suddenly so close. He's been keeping to the house like he's supposed to, being so careful not wander too far or talk to the wrong people...

But his curiosity gets the best of him and, after a few moments of hesitation, he pokes his head out through the window to investigate the sand below.]

[The young redheaded woman turned in place, looking around her wide shocked green eyes. Where was she? A note of not quite panic but definite discomfort in her bearing]

This is not funny. Return the common room the way it should be this minute or, [ok it wasn't fair to punish all of Gryffindor for a few people actions, but still. enchanting the place to look like something off a western film was an impressive misuse of magic]

Potter! Black! I swear they'll have you in detention for this 'till you're twenty.

[It continues on with more of the same, muttering and occasionally trying to find a hole in the illusion. Wondering why her wand was being utterly useless at Finite Incantatem. This F3 must be it's own sort of torture indeed, why else would Lily Evans be here?]

[Lily didn't recognize the girl, more over why would she be in the illusioned common room. Sadly such pranks were no unheard of, once the third floor girls lavatory was turned into a tropical rainforest complete with parrots and lizards. None of it was real of course, but that didn't make it less shocking.]

Yes, those two. Are they about? If I find them I'll hex them into next week.

[Instead of going straight to Tyki's little "get together" he's decided to look for the boy first.

So the Noah is wandering around the streets of Hope's End in order to find Allen Walker. But no one should really recognize Joyd as a Noah since he's in white form.]

[Oh, Joyd will look long and hard for you, Allen. Long and hard. Because he needs to find his own Allen back at home and you're going to help him.

Timcanpy is the first clue that Allen's near and he smirks, strolling up to Allen. Of course he might also get the Noah ping but with all these other Noah around it's hard to tell, isn't it?]
