[Some kind of...figure...it's a man, he's tall...lingering on the outskirts of the town.

He stands. Silent. Ominous. His very presence is foreboding of imminent catastrophe.]

[A small boy's peering through the window of a building a ways off, squinting to try and make out the figure in the distance.]

[The figure turns his head towards the boy in the window. The small child.

this desert has so many children . . .

His bright red tie sticks out among his monochrome appearance. A business suit.
Can you make out his face yet?

He "stares" back for seconds, moments, minutes.
And like a tarantula, he starts slowly moving out of the line of sight of the window until he disappears completely.

But suddenly the shifting of the sand, very close to the house can be heard, as though being whipped violently by a nonexistent wind. Something about the noises begs investigation and incites uneasiness.

Or is it just your imagination?

[Alma watches until the man is out of slight, thoroughly unnerved by the odd movements and ominous silence. He grips the window sill hard, jumping at the shifting sounds suddenly so close. He's been keeping to the house like he's supposed to, being so careful not wander too far or talk to the wrong people...

But his curiosity gets the best of him and, after a few moments of hesitation, he pokes his head out through the window to investigate the sand below.]

[Doc Scratch is just taking a nice stroll when he notices the figure standing far away in his "peripheral".

Odd how this presence seemed to exist on the edge of his senses, subtle yet powerful.]

[The figure doesn't move. It doesn't even turn it's hand.

Still. A tree.]

[Scratch watches it with incredible curiosity. He casually strolls towards whatever it is.

It was tall, slim, still... could be a tree, yet there was something more odd about it than that.]

[what the hell is THAT

brb just gonna
stare back at you
from a million feet away

He can't help it, the darkness is just... horrid. He almost wants to make sure whatever this thing is can't hurt anyone.

But he can barely see it, let alone go punch it out. What's he going to do?]

[s e e s y o u

It looks back. Making eye contact.

Or at least it seems like it is...

Can you make out it's face?

It doesn't move.]

[He's as still as it, just breathing, eyes fixed on that spot in the darkness. And then he sinks through a Corridor, inching a little closer. He's maybe a hundred feet away now, hand itching to call his blade. That thing...]

[What in the hell is that...?

Eridan has half a mind to go check it da fuq out.]

[This is a child. . .

It turns towards him.

And it watches.]

[Slendy's watchin' me................

Against his better judgement he starts walking towards him totally forgetting the wings he has that could make this shit faster, but keeping his guard up just in case.]

[Normally, one would probably have at least common sense to be cautionary.

Too bad bitty Fuji is hopped up on medication that has shut out her sense of pain and pretty much other negative emotions. Fear, what's that? It has no meaning to her, after all.

So, unfortunately, SHE'LL BE SKIPPING RIGHT TOWARDS HIM/IT/WHATEVER THE HECK THAT FREAKY THING IS OUT OF CURIOSITY, AND WITHOUT A CARE IN THE WORLD.]

[It turns to the child. So small and innocent. The man's arms stretch out to inhuman lengths and other arm-like appendages seem to start bubbling and emerging from his back. As terrifying as a sight this tall, faceless being might be...there is an aura of comfort surrounding him. Intoxicating.]

[Other people would've run away right about now. Lil' Fuji here? She's rather awestruck by how many limbs he has.]

Ohhh, that's amazing, mister! How did you get to do that?
