Val is the name of the computer that runs the Facility. I'm sure if you put out a message request to her that she'll be happy to reply. Just don't be too snarky with her, or she'll be twice as snarky back.

As for what sort of place doesn't have booze - the kind of place that doesn't want people to be civil. The kind of place that when trouble starts they need to be painfully sober and aware of what's going on in order to make them suffer.

Too bad you wern't here 2 weeks ago, we were on a mini-field trip as I understand it and there was a saloon.

[It's been days since Sam's seen Gene after they had their little blow up over beds. After seeing that crazy monster in one of the rooms, though, Sam's been keeping an eye on the network. And seeing Gene's...and the chatter about his video, just makes him laugh. Laugh at his agony!]
