[ Two bloody, tiny hands wipe at the smears of red on the communicator's camera before frantically bringing it closer. Tiny 6 year old Soul's face is soaked with tears, a few smudges of blood on his chin. The view shakes in his trembling hands and two more sobs shake his body. ]

S-somebody! I-I don't know what to do and-I-I've tried but-

[She's conscious, but not very lucid, probably from the loss of blood. the pain doesn't bother her that much. It hurts, but physical pain is fading. Not to mention, Soul is safe and so is Allen. That's what matter. Slowly, she reaches a hand out to Soul, looping her fingers with his.]

[ His little hand squeezed hers as hard as he could manage. ] Someone's gunna come. Just w-wait. They'll fix you up l-like on tv and then you'll be o-ok. You'll get flowers and ca-andy and a teddy bear. And balloons and-so just don't go to sleep.

[He was going to feel guilty for this next week and she wasn't sure she could do anything to stop it. That bothered her.]

I won't sleep. [If she died, it would be even worse for him.]

I'll wait for someone to come. [She squeezed his hand back.]

The hell did she do?! [Pretty safe to assume that Axel plus Roxas will show up in a few minutes via portal]

Sh..she went t-to save her friend and..and told me to s-stay here and [ He pauses to wipe at his running nose ] She came back and fell and-just get here soon, ok? I can't keep her awake much longer!

[ When Axel does portal in, Soul jumps back with a small squeak of surprise. ]

Maka-- are you okay? [He goes over to her, looking her over] Roxas knows so much more about this stuff...

[It's a familiar voice, and Maka shifts slightly in response, blinking up at Axel. She's delirious and her vision hazy which is why for a second she thinks it's Spirit, before remembering he's dead.]

Axel...did you and Roxas make up? [It seems like an important question at the time.]

[There's a little girl in chinese dress walking through a wall nearby, coming down and sitting close to the pair of them]

There are people coming. I don't think I'm going to be needed here, but I just thought I'd come to make you feel a little better. I don't...

Ah! Go away ghost, you're not taking her with you! S-she's going to wake up and be just fine, so GO AWAY!

[She looks over at Maka, examining her injuries]

She shouldn't be leaking like that. We should stop the leaks. [She gets up and walks through a wall, coming back a second or two later with a pair off hand towels in her hands]

[ He's reluctant to take anything from someone claiming to be death and can walk through walls, but it was clear he needed all the help he could get. With clear hesitance, Soul finally took the towel. ]

[Damn good thing she's been feeding off Jin-ho, so the blood won't be too tempting with her current vampire state.]
