When he stopped and to catch his breath concern filled Rose's features, "Henry, are you alright?" She glanced up and around, wondering how far they were from Canary Warf and the Torchwood offices. "We can stop for a moment if you need to rest."

"No... he's just trying to..." I groaned again. "I'm fine, don't need to rest, I'll keep him at bay, he isn't trying hard enough. If he really wanted to, believe me you wouldn't be standing here with me now" I laughed weakly. "He is merely...playing..."

"Maybe I should introduce him to my mom," she joked softly, "Thats the only person in the universe the Doctor seemed frightened of. Funny, all those aliens, creatures and he was scared of my mom. But then she does has a temper."
Walking with him once more she kept the pace slow, "Does he do that a lot, play with you."

"Maybe we should... maybe she could teach him a lesson" I laughed, which turned into a cry. I concentrated on walking, the simple act of putting one foot infront of the other, with her hand in mine and the wind all around me it was oddly comforting. But not enough for Hyde, it would never be enough for him simply to just be...
"Yes, he finds it amusing... he keeps me waiting, just waiting, not knowing whether he's going to take everything from me or leave me be..." I shrugged, "I'd like to say that I've gotten used to it but when things are as unpredicatable as him..." I tried to shrug it away.
