I've waited two years for a challenge like this... I just hope i'm up for it.

Between applying for Oxford semester, my independant project, my internship, my job, studying for the GRE's in November (and December) and 18 credits...  Laissez les bon temps roulez.

I've never been so homesick in the one place i call home.

So summer's pretty awesome, i'm not getting much scholastic work done. I need to buckle down this month and read both of Penny Summerfield's books, form a possible thesis, as well as study for my GRE's. Yipee. Sorry Dr. Parssinen, i know you wanted a more committed student... but, come on, it's SUMMER!!! I'm trying, at least.

I missed my Attleboro Boys so much. I didn't realize how much i missed them.

I'm sure i'll say the same when i see my girls, too. :-)

I bought a FISHEY!! I got so tired of walking in an empty house with nothing to say hello to. I'm used to opening the door and having someone / something to talk to. My brother's just hardly ever around (it's great when he is...), so i bought a FISHEY!! :-D

I haven't named him / her yet... i'll take suggestions!!

Not transferring

I've decided that my life has become a series of disspointments.

I'm starting to prepare for next semester, in case i don't get the scholarship i'm waiting for. I've got my housing situated, i'll be living with an acquaintance of mine: Katya. So... i may not be transferring. Emmanuel (a 34k private institution) decided i was only worth 10500 in financial aid. 10k scholarship, and 500 (yes, that's right five HUNDRED) dollar grant. With the help my parents offered, it would still leave me almost 12k-15k per year to make up on my own. 10k of that in private (high APR) loans... At the ( Read more... )

After reading several sections of the Bible for my Secular and Sacred class, i came to the realization that most churches have it wrong. God does not love you unconditionally.
