Once I had the rice and fried spam ready, the rest of the dishes were quick to complete. I only made 4 spam musubi's and saved another cup of the sushi rice for the regular loco moco so it was pretty efficient.

Let's hope my comment doesn't get flagged as SPAM, ha...ha...ha :p

You know, after all is said and done, Spam isn't actually *that* bad. Hardly a gourmet steak, but it's food, and not the worst thing in the world. Spam sushi... nice idea :D

It's been so many years since I tasted it that I had forgotten what the taste was like. It was not terrible but I won't be buying it again, needless to say. :)

Wow! I had heard that Hawaii is really big on spam sushi but I had never seen it before! I would be a terror with the kitchen shears and a spam tin! I am flat out opening a normal can lately!

I didn't think I'd have the kind of problem I had with my regular can opener and that can of Spam. Until I did it. And then I REFUSED to be beaten by a tin can so I hauled out my kitchen shears and then later, the masking tape. Duct tape would probably work as well. :)
